I’ve been so busy teaching on the road (in nine different states so far since February) that I forgot my blogging anniversary.
Last week marked the completion of 10 full years of blogging about self defense, firearms, and personal safety topics. I started this website on March 18, 2012 and have posted 2248 total articles since then.
The average novel is somewhere around 100,000 words. In the last 10 years I’ve written a total of 1,970,907 words here. That’s the equivalent of 20 novels! Thinking about that truly boggles my mind.
Since its inception, the website has seen just under 30 million total page views by almost six million unique visitors from all over the world. In fact, I have logged visitors from every country on the planet. These numbers astound me. I’m eternally grateful for all your dedicate dreading over the years.
Thanks to all of my readers for supporting my work via donations and Patreon subscriptions. If you have any suggestions for article topics or ways I can make my writing more useful to you, please contact me.
As always, you will never see any annoying pop up adds or requests for personal information on my site. If you would like to financially support my continued writing, I have a Patreon page. Patreon subscribers get ad-free copies of each article emailed to them along with occasional bonus content not posted on the site. If you don’t like Patreon, you can always buy me a beer by clicking “donate” in the column to the right of this post or purchase anything from Amazon.com after entering from one of my links.
The amazon purchases don’t cost you anything extra. They just send me a commission of a couple percentage points of the selling price of each item you buy.
Thanks again to everyone who reads all the crazy material I post. I’m looking forward to continuing this project many years into the future.
