This is a guest post from my friend and well known mass killing researcher Ron Borsh. Ron has some thoughts about the demonizing of inanimate objects following several high profile killings and the insidious purpose that such demonizing actually serves. Some of you will enjoy this one.

DANGEROUS INANIMATE OBJECTS?
Copyright 2019 Ron Borsch
There is nothing unsafe, hazardous, or risky about a truck. It is an inanimate object. It does not move itself. “It is not endowed with life or spirit, lacks consciousness and power of motion”. There are many inanimate objects that could be dangerous when misapplied or given animation by something or someone. The problem is that the willfully ignorant choose to believe in something completely counter to fact, especially about guns.
THE POINT
The point is, like the truck or vehicle example, it is the human involvement in the misuse of inanimate objects that makes them dangerous. If the human motive is evil, if the human is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or the human possesses numerous unstable or troubling symptoms, (NUTS©), they may intentionally animate many normally harmless inanimate objects such as a vehicle, bat, club, gasoline, gun, knife, hand or power tools, rock, etc.
None are by themselves evil. The truck, inanimate as it is, can cause harm to persons by operator error in an accident, or on purpose by a terrorist using it for mass murder by “Motor Vehicle Mow Down©”. It would be illogical to blame the truck instead of the operator. Blaming inanimate objects is always a Self-Delusion Solution© by the willfully biased ignorant. Logic must enter the picture in order to trash this fantasy.
COUNTER INTUITIVE, DEFYING LOGIC
It is a given that an outside influence is required to animate an inanimate object. It is counter intuitive to conclude that fault of any sort is with the inanimate object. It would also defy common sense to blame an inanimate object. Here it would be helpful to apply Occam’s Razor (or principle of simplicity), whereby “One should always choose the simplest explanation of a phenomenon, the one that requires the fewest leaps of logic.” Unenlightened adults who are not used to thinking for themselves and who rely on groupthink and/or biased sources easily accept information that would fail this logical test.
Juveniles and younger adults as a group, lacking extensive life experiences, are the easiest to influence emotionally. For example, the surviving students at the Parkland Florida High School mass murder were ripe for anti-gun activists’ manipulation, with the reward of a funded protest in Washington D.C. (meals, transportation, lodging, etc.). Misled by adults and emotionally fired up, believing they were right, they became simple tools of dark, anti-American, anti-gun politics with motive to disarm citizens.
PEOPLE CONTROL
It is those with a very strong anti-gun bias that would assert leaps of logic to support their accusations that a gun is at fault for an incident, joining forces that have long worked to disarm the populace. Throughout world history, wherever genocide has occurred, the populace had first been disarmed. Those that might imagine that it could not happen today, have a problem believing that evil exists. Down through world history, governments have disarmed their citizens only to tyrannize those citizens once they were disarmed.
Take a look at the Gun Control & Genocide page by Fr. John Peck. See the chart (copied below) documenting just a few examples from recent history where “gun control” laws were immediately followed by tyrannical government abuses. “Gun control” laws and government genocide campaigns have helped slaughter over 56 million people worldwide.
MENTAL HEALTH
Mental health issues are the purview of psychiatrists and psychologists. I will stay in my own lane of study and research of Rapid Mass Murder© incidents in public places. In most (nearly all) of over 270 incidents back to 1975, the mass murderers responsible had behavioral clues displaying a history of numerous unstable or troubling symptoms. I coined the acronym NUTS© for good reason. Any person may use it and be correct when the proper five words stay reasonably close to facts. Many of the mass murderers in my Stopwatch of Death© database had also been diagnosed with some sort of mental illness. The term NUTS© covers either type.
STUCK ON STUPID OR SUBVERSIVE?
Groups or individuals that would take away our second amendment rights and outlaw or confiscate the legally purchased property of good, decent and mentally healthy citizens is morally and legally wrong. In fact, the activist’s own sanity may righteously be questioned when they blame inanimate objects like guns for any crimes when they are used as a criminal tool. When one understands that anti-gun activists may not be so much stupid as subversive, it is easier to see their socialist or communist strategy. Following are relevant quotes, most from John Farnams’s sage DTI Quips:
“After our enemies with guns have all been wiped out, there will still be enemies without guns, and they are bound to struggle desperately against us. We must never regard these enemies lightly” Mao Tse Tung
“Our main agenda is to have ALL guns banned. We must use whatever means possible. Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us have been totally disarmed.” Sarah Brady
“Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our political opponents have guns. Why should we let them have ideas?” Joseph Stalin
“They currently have guns, and therefore we are for ‘peace’ and ‘reformation through the ballot.’ When we have all the guns, then it will be through the bullet.” Saul Alinsky
“The Second Amendment is “a relic” and should be repealed” Justice John Paul Stevens.
Some of those quoted above were responsible for genocide of their own citizens. The others were never allowed to achieve a position of power to complete doing so, but their evil ideology lives on to indoctrinate others with such anti-American propaganda.
PATRIOT LOGIC
“Don’t Get Stuck on Stupid!” – Lt. General Russel Honoré
“Though defensive violence will always be ‘a sad necessity’ in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men.” – Saint Augustine (354-430)
“The means of defense against foreign danger have been always been the instruments of tyranny at home.” James Madison
“No greater wrong can ever be done than to put a good man at the mercy of a bad man, while insisting the good man not defend himself, nor his fellows. In no other way can the success of evil be made surer, nor quicker.” Teddy Roosevelt
“One of the ordinary modes, by which tyrants accomplish their purposes without resistance, is, by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms.” Joseph Story
“In a time of universal deceit, Truth is a revolutionary act” George Orwell
“Today we need a nation of minute men; citizens who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as a basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.” John F. Kennedy.
DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS
Those who would disarm America attack on many fronts and ask for common sense compromise. What they mean by “compromise” is taking something away, like your rights, from what our founding fathers intended. An example is attacking one gun type at a time. We hate the gun-grabbers term assault rifle, and that is their current focus. However, the FBI Uniform Crime Reports has documented that rifles of all models only account for two or three percent of murders, yet Few Die By Assault-Style Rifles.
CONCLUSION
There is little valid data to support gun-grabbers. They have been known to fabricate data supporting their cause, but their biggest weapon today is emotional rabble-rousing, utilizing incidents caused by the mentally ill, and/or the raw evil of rogue humans. In neither event can crimes be blamed on inanimate objects.
