Last week I joined Lee Weems and a distinguished panel of training experts to sort out the topic of how to teach new police officers how to shoot. We attempt to define some best practices for firearms training in a police academy setting and how to sustain that training after the recruits graduate.
While most of the material is law enforcement specific, those of you who do a lot of firearms training in the armed citizen space could probably benefit from the knowledge we share.
If you do police recruit firearms training, try to implement some of the ideas we suggest.
