The Truth About Barrel Length, Muzzle Velocity and Accuracy
A very good study showing how cutting down a barrel affects accuracy and velocity. It really doesn’t matter all that much. Even with my precision rifles, I prefer a shorter barrel. It is just as accurate and much easier to fire from alternate positions.
